Big Gains with GPF
We made impressive gains with our Stage 1 GPF ECU Software earlier this year, giving 370PS and 500NM. A huge jump from the 290PS and 380NM these cars come with from factory, all from a software upgrade.
Following on from this development for the 2.0T EA888 Gen3 IS38 GPF Engines (found in such vehicles as the Audi S3, SQ2, Golf Mk7 R, SEAT Leon and Cupra Ateca) which actually surpassed our own expectations, we were keen to push forward.
Next Level – Stage 2 GPF
And we’ve taken it to the next level using our Performance Pack, which is now available and gives 400PS and 563NM while retaining the complete factory exhaust system and GPF! That’s a 110PS/183NM increase over the factory output.
In actual fact that means we’re making the SAME performance on our GPF-equipped Performance Pack as non-GPF Stage 2 cars! Pretty incredible and this has been an all-new development for us allowing these gains to be possible.
The Revo Performance Pack is a one-hit hardware and software solution designed to remove the OEM flow restrictions, freeing up potential for more power.
The hardware parts for this consist of an intercooler, charge/throttle pipes and an intake system, then our custom ECU software maximises the potential of all that good stuff to deliver a drive like no other.
DO NOT Remove the GPF
Given that you’re already reading this, you’re probably aware of what a GPF/OPF is. And, therefore, you’ve probably read the many myths online that encourage its removal.
However, it’s actually illegal to remove GPF. So our challenge from the outset of development with ALL GPF/OPF cars has been to work on getting the very most out in terms of performance and drivability, while leaving the GPF in place to maintain 100% road legality.
Since 2018 GPF’s have been added to all new Gasoline (Petrol) Direct Injection cars. It’s main purpose is to restrict the level of emissions and it looks likely that it’ll be around for a while.
People like you wanted more performance, but should that come at the cost of your vehicle not being road legal? Absolutely not! This is why our engineers have spent the last 10 months working towards further calibrations for these IS38 turbo-equipped cars.
As well as the considerable performance increases at both Stage 1 and Performance Pack (GPF Stage 2) there are a host of other benefits on top.
Cold Start Protection, Temperature Protection and Speed Limit Unlock feature on the Stage 1 software. The Stage 2 upgrade also includes those features but adds RPM Limit Increase, Left Foot Braking and Brake Boost (allowing boost to build while braking) on top as well.
GPF Stage 2 for the Audi RS3 & Fiesta MK8 ST
We’ve also been working hard on further GPF development with a Performance Pack (Stage 2 GPF) for the Fiesta MK8 ST and RS3.
