Welcome back to your monthly service and news update for all things Revo related, directly from the people behind the brand. This month we head to Bavaria, launch new products and look at more general news from the team; just in case you missed anything.
New Pro-Panel Airfilter for the Volkswagen Amarok
We recently released the latest addition to the Revo Pro-Panel Filter range. A high-grade direct replacement air filter for the VW Amarok. With multilayered foam technology the Pro-Panel Filter is specifically designed to deliver outstanding filtration while protecting your engine from harmful debris. Simple and easy to fit, this is a must have upgrade over the standard paper filter.
The technology and manufacture processes used to create the Revo filter are also used to create the filters supplied to teams in all fields of Motorsport, from Formula 1 to World Rally Championship. Exceptional quality and flow capability aren’t the only benefits over the stock paper filters. A long-lasting product, the Pro-Panel Filter is serviceable and simply needs to be washed and re-oiled when needed.

New Revo 2.0BiTDI performance ECU Software for Passat, Arteon, Tiguan and more
Earlier this month we released performance ECU software for the 2.0BiTDI engine found in multiple vehicles including Volkswagen Passat, Tiguan, Arteon and Skoda Kodiaq VRS. Already boasting one of the most powerful engines in the VWAG diesel offering, Revo now offer a hike in power, torque and have redefined the way this power is delivered.
The new software takes the stock 240PS / 500NM and boosts it up to 296PS / 580NM with Revo software. It also comes with features including Speed Limit Unlock, and three useful modes when used with the Revo SPS Software Switch Including Anti-Theft mode, Stock mode and performance mode.

Revo Software for the 2.0TSI GPF is packed full of features and will make waves.
The latest generation 2.0TSI engine has seen some substantial changes in factory form to keep in line with the latest emissions laws. Most notable is the introduction of the GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter) and the change to the single port injection system.
In short, these are like the DPF (diesel particulate filter) found in diesel vehicles but for petrol-powered engines (just in case that wasn’t clear). Any additional restriction within the engine poses potential problems when it comes to tuning; these are not cheap parts to replace and we’re not in the game of compromising. With a strict policy on not ‘deleting’ DPF’s or GPF’s, the engineering and calibration team set about assessing what we could do.
Roll on a year and an extensive development process, including testing through Revo’s Global Development Programme in UK, Sweden and Germany, we’ve created something great. Every scenario the car may be driven in has been considered and refined, so you’ll know you’re running Revo on the way to the shops, or when you’re hammering an apex. We’ve even re-calibrated the performance clocks and added a whole host of new features that mean you can enjoy your car, while we look after keeping your engine safe.
Performance ECU Software will be available for relevant models with the 2.0T IS38 engine globally from early January 2020. These include Volkswagen Mk7.5 Golf R, T-Roc R, Golf TCR, CUPRA Ateca, Leon Cupra and latest Audi S3. If you’re keen to get your hands on this early though, we’ve given priority access to some Revo Authorised Dealers. You can find your nearest dealer on our website.
Will a battery disconnect delete Revo ECU Software?
We get a lot of calls asking about battery disconnect and Revo software, so we thought we would clear things up. We’ve put together a post detailing the small list of older vehicles affected. Just so you understand what happens and how to get your power back.
Fast Ford Magazine tests what Revo’s Mk8 Fiesta ST (Stage 1) has to offer.
We headed down to SCC Performance in St Albans to meet up with owner Robert Oldman and Fast Ford Magazine editor, Jamie King. Bringing along our wrapped Mk8 ST, sporting the new RV018 wheels and Revo Performance ECU Software. We then allowed Jamie to blast it around the leafy suburbs of Hertfordshire. You can read what he thought about the ST. We also let him loose in a Mk8 1.0 Fiesta running BETA ECU software so he could have a taste of what’s to come for that.

Warehouse Assistant John passes his practical driving test
Warehouse assistant John passed his driving test with flying colours. Only picking up 2 minors for drifting and a savage handbrake turn. His first car is a solid choice too; a Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 125 Spec. Working at Revo means that whatever your choice of car, it won’t stay standard long. He’s been enjoying Revo ECU software and already has parts lined up to go straight to Revo Stage 2.
Marketing Manager Dan’s Caddy gets new lows
The latest addition to the Revo staff fleet is marketing manager Dan’s Caddy. Before he’s even worked out what all the buttons do, it’s been in to Revo Authorised Dealer Reflex Auto Designs. They fitted a set of Bilstein B14 coilovers. Some serious kit, it’s almost a shame fitting them. Handling sorted, next up is a healthy spike in power courtesy of Revo ECU Software and a Pro-Panel filter.
