The latest version of Audi’s longitudinal 1.8 turbocharged, direct injection engine is incredibly polished and refined. Whether it’s in an A4 saloon or Avant, or the sleeker A5 Coupe it’s an efficient engine with very impressive economy, very much a real alternative to the 2.0TDI versions.
It’s not all about economy though, this isn’t just a basic runaround engine it’s quite quick in standard form. When combined with our Stage1 calibration you can really feel the true potential, with lots of flexibility, fantastic smooth power delivery and torque on tap throughout the rev range all making for a very capable car and a much more enjoyable drive. The built in switch-ability give our dealers the ability to set your car up to suit a variation of climatic conditions and fuel quality making sure our software is optimized for you
